In 2023 I called this trip “the four corners” trip. Reality was closer to “the four states of the four corners” (decidedly not as catchy a name). 1800 miles of driving westward from Virginia, I arrived at Pikes Peak, Colorado as my sight-seeing starting point. From there, 11 national parks and several astronomy sights of interest worth of mileage ensued. The trip was captured on my Fujifilm XT30II APS-C camera and a Fujinon 18 - 55mm zoom lens.
